Operator Job Description

Operators are responsible for safe train handling, signal compliance, passenger service, and reporting irregular conditions during academy sessions and live events.

  • Operate trains safely while following signals, speed restrictions, and supervisor instructions.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, conductors, and academy staff during runs.
  • Complete school car expectations, incident reporting, and rules compliance before receiving a pass number.

Dispatcher Job Description

Dispatchers manage train spacing, routing, hold orders, service recovery, and crew communication while keeping runs organized and safe.

  • Control train movement, spacing, and route decisions during academy and live-run operations.
  • Communicate clearly with operators, conductors, supervisors, and event hosts about service conditions.
  • Apply OBND dispatching rules, service management procedures, and escalation steps when disruptions occur.
